Active Threat Solutions, LLC is a risk management company that empowers clients to prepare and train so they can better respond to emergencies. We proudly fill a growing need to give organizations a path to protect themselves from threats and to respond with proper emergency medical techniques that will save lives.
Active Threat Solutions, LLC is headquartered in the Raleigh-Durham area of NC. We travel to client locations, assessing their risk and delivering the highest possible level of products and training to help them prepare for emergency situations.

Amy Edge, MBA
CEO
As former CEO of Recovery Logistics, LLC Amy Edge knows exactly what it takes for a business to not only anticipate and survive devastating storms—such as Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, and Irene—but also help organizations and individuals overcome and even prosper in the face of them. Amy now brings her unprecedented experience in risk management and her passion for people in crisis to organizations who need emergency response solutions. She and her team guide management to prepare and train so they can better respond to active threats.
Monty Edge
PRESIDENT
Monty Edge has been living the concepts of prepare, train, and respond for his entire career. His experience in building and maintaining cell towers, high-angle rescue, disaster recovery, self-protection, and emergency medical service has forged his capability. Monty engaged with hazard assessment, emergency preparation, and emergency response training through numerous ventures that he co-founded, such as Site Resources Inc, Recovery Logistics LLC, and Every Day Ready LLC. Driven by a passion for emergency response, Monty also obtained an NREMT certification and has practiced as an EMT in both New Hampshire and North Carolina. Hunter Edge, MScM
IT and MARKETING MANAGER
Hunter is a lifelong Scouter and earned the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank a scout can achieve, and the Vigil Honor Award, which is the highest award given to a Boy Scout. He is currently active in the Order of the Arrow and is known nationwide for both Boy Scout patch designing and trading. While in college, Hunter worked in the accounting department at Leading Edge Institute. Upon graduating from Elon with his master’s in management science with a concentration in business analytics, he decided to follow his passion for graphic design. He joined Active Threat Solutions, LLC designing and managing our online webstore, inventory systems, and creating marketing materials.
Austin Edge
FACILITY MANAGER
“Work hard, train hard, play hard” truly defines Austin Edge. When not on the ski slopes training as a competitive racer, he was either at the range perfecting his shooting skills or on the family’s forty-foot sailboat learning to sail. When Monty Edge started Every Day Ready, a NC-based training organization providing training in firearms, self-protection, tactical medical and emergency preparedness to the consumer market, Austin was an assistant instructor and later became a partner. As Every Day Ready expanded beyond the consumer market, Austin decided to join his parents at Active Threat Solutions, LLC. Today, he manages both the warehouse and the office building. He and girlfriend, Lauren Krause, took the lead on the renovation of THE EDGE CENTER, Active Threat Solutions’ new training space.

Training is a critical and necessary component of any emergency response plan. Responders must acquire and maintain knowledge, skills, and practical abilities in order to empower life-saving capability.
RESPOND
