Emergency Medical Training For Civilians

Training for individuals, business, government offices,
education, and faith-based organizations.

Active Threat Trauma Care (ATTC)

ATTC is an emergency medical course that is designed to prepare civilians to respond during to active-threat incidents and to casualties involving major hemorrhage or penetrating injury to chest or abdomen. The training is based on TECC guidelines and is presented in the context of an active-threat environment with significant focus on preparation, tactics, and reality-based training techniques.

ATTC training focuses on bridging-the-gap between incident and EMS and is based on TECC guidelines. Trainees do not require any prior medical training to participate. ATTC training is not like traditional medical training because we address tactics, the training is very “hands-on”, and we employ reality-based training techniques. Register for an ATTC course on the side bar calendar or Click Here to contact ATS about training options.

Disclaimer: Our active-bleeding training devices are breathtakingly realistic and simulate actual traumatic injuries and major hemorrhage. Trainees should wear clothes that can get dirty, allow movement, and be exposed to training blood. Physical activity is included in the training, including kneeling, lying on the floor, and the manipulation of casualties.

ATTC Presents:

  • Preparation
  • Civilian response tactics
  • Casualty movement
  • Casualty assessment
  • Hemorrhage control
  • Airway management
  • Penetrating injury to chest or abdomen
  • Course features active-bleeding task trainers
  • Course includes reality-based civilian exercises

CPR/AED Training

All persons both in and out of the workplace should be trained to respond to cardiac arrest. Most workplaces require CPR/AED training and many organizations provide it simply because it’s the right thing to do. In addition to sales of AEDs, ATS provides CPR/AED training and certification for you or your organizations personnel. to learn more… Click Here

Why should you have
emergency medical training?

If you are on the scene during an active-threat incident or accidental traumatic injury, YOU are a first responder. What you do or don’t do in the minutes following a traumatic injury can mean the difference between life and death. Traditional first-aid training and kits fall short of preparing you to respond to severe traumatic injuries involving active threats, major hemorrhage, or chest penetrations. Emergency medical training by ATS can provide the skills and tools you need to respond effectively to gunshot wounds or other traumatic injuries.

Why train with Active Threat Solutions?

ATS training is not like others because we specialize in reality-based training that provides you access to the tactics, skills, and tools used by military & law enforcement operators. Our instructors deliver dynamic & power-packed training featuring visual learning, hands-on skills training, breathtakingly-real active-bleeding task-trainers, and reality-based scenario exercises.

  • I am the Director of the Emergency Response Team at Calvary Baptist Church. We contracted Active Threat Solutions to train our Team as well as help prepare our congregation for emergency situations. Every training session has been well thought out, pushed our limits and provided us with the tools we need to respond appropriately. We could not be happier with the services we have received from ATS. I have also trained with ATS personally and benefited every time from the class and conversations with the instructors.

  • Steve Shelp Trained with ATS
Thanks to ATS and their thorough training, I have made a conscious effort to build up my med kit since taking the ATTC class and made it part of my daily routine to make sure it is with me at all times. It’s no different than always having your firearm with you and making sure it is ready at all times. Having a good med kit readily available along with the knowledge and confidence to deploy it is crucial. The most valuable thing I learned from ATS training classes, in addition to the thorough medical training I received, is the change of mindset to have a med kit with you at all times. You never know what type of emergency you might be dealing with any day. ATS’s motto is "Prepare Train Respond." The scope of what that motto really means keeps getting broader every time I train with them. Thanks to the Edge family! “A little more prepared today than yesterday” Steve, Church security Team member, former military, and an American

  • Took an 8 hour class yesterday with Active Threat Solutions on situational awareness in a crisis situation and how to do the basics with HUGE focus on stop the bleed. I am partnering with this company for services that I offer, so I wanted to see what it was about... I learned SO MUCH!!!! It made me aware that I needed training for real world non healthcare response. It was humbling and the level of hands on training was INCREDIBLE. I can't recommend this course enough to everyone. Thanks Amy Edge, Monty and your team for a STELLAR course that I hope I never need to use. The blessing is that if I do need it, I am much more prepared and aware!
