Industrial Trauma Care
Industrial Trauma Care (ITC) empowers industrial and construction workers to respond to traumatic injuries resulting from workplace accidents. ITC training focuses on the most life-threatening injuries such as those that present major hemorrhage or penetrating injury to chest or abdomen. The training is presented in the context of the clients working environment.
The focus of ITC is to bridge the gap between incident and EMS. This training does NOT replace OSHA required first-aid training, but is intended to present tactics, skills, and tools that are NOT addressed in traditional first-aid training and kits. Trainees are not required to have any prior medical certification or training to participate. The skills taught are basic life-saving techniques that can be performed by most anyone. ITC courses are typically 4-6hrs and can be customized to the needs of the customer.
Disclaimer: Our active-bleeding training devices are breathtakingly realistic and simulate actual traumatic injuries and bleeding. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting soiled, however the training blood does not stain skin or clothing. Physical activity is included in the training, including kneeling, lying on the floor, in addition to moving and manipulating of casualties.

Took an 8 hour class yesterday with Active Threat Solutions on situational awareness in a crisis situation and how to do the basics with HUGE focus on stop the bleed. I am partnering with this company for services that I offer, so I wanted to see what it was about... I learned SO MUCH!!!!
